Genital herpes requires precautions

Genital herpes is an STD, a sexually transmitted disease caused by the herpes simplex virus. Every disease has an incubation period before the onset of the disease, and when it comes to the signs before the onset of genital herpes, it refers to the incubation period of genital herpes, which is usually 2-7 days. Before the onset of genital herpes, patients usually experience systemic symptoms such as headache, myalgia, fever, and weakness. Pre-genital herpes symptoms may also be flu-like after the first infection, including fever and swollen lymph nodes in the groin. After the incubation period is over, the patient’s condition worsens dramatically with the appearance of one or more small red papules with itching, followed by the rapid transformation of the papules into clusters of small blisters containing yellowish exudate. 3-5 days later the herpes breaks down and forms an ulcer with severe pain and swollen and painful local lymph nodes. In female patients, the herpes occurs mostly on the labia, around the anus, and vagina, but about 90% of patients can also invade the cervix causing cervicitis or uterine inflammation; in male patients, it occurs mostly on the glans, coronal sulcus, urethral opening or penile body, and sometimes can be complicated by urethritis. Once infected with genital herpes, if not treated effectively, the condition can occur in cycles and linger on, and it can cause infertility, sterility, stillbirths and malformations. The primary infection often recurs after a certain period of quiescence. The causes of recurrence are fever, menstrual flow, exertion, mental stress, trauma and external sensation. How to get infected with genital herpes need to pay attention to the following points, and to be treated as soon as possible. 1, genital herpes patients first of all is to establish confidence in themselves to treat the disease, do not have too much pressure on the psychological, positive face, not early anxiety.
