In case of panic attacks, the possibility of coronavirus infection should be considered, but it is also necessary to exclude the possibility of having been to the infected area and having contact with patients with a definite diagnosis of coronavirus infection. If there is no clear history of exposure and no visit to the infected area, simple panic attacks may not necessarily be caused by coronavirus infection. Usually, coronavirus infection pneumonia mainly presents with cough, low-grade fever, malaise and generalized muscle aches, while a few patients may present with panic and chest tightness. If the routine blood test results indicate no high or low blood count, or if the chest CT results indicate no double lung glassy changes, coronavirus infection is not considered.
