Care measures for blood clots

The following care measures should be taken after the occurrence of thrombosis: First, the patient should be absolutely bedridden, including diet and urination and defecation should be done in bed, and the patient should minimize the activities of the affected limb, avoid stretching the affected limb and massage and squeezing to avoid dislodging the thrombus. The affected limb can be elevated appropriately, but pay attention to the padding under the knee joint, do not dangle, to avoid knee pain. During the period of bed rest, the patient should pay attention to the smooth defecation to avoid constipation that may increase the abdominal pressure and increase the risk of thrombus dislodgement. Secondly, pay attention to the symptoms of dyspnea, chest pain and hemoptysis during the treatment period, and inform the doctor in time to avoid delaying the treatment.
