Where are the reflex zones of cervical spondylosis

The reflex zone of cervical spondylosis is located in the upper extremity, mainly due to the backward protrusion of the cervical intervertebral discs caused by the long-term work involvement of the neck to compress the spinal cord nerves, which will cause numbness, soreness and pinprick-like pain in the upper extremity. The nerves in the neck are distributed in various places in the upper limbs. The thumb is innervated by the sixth pair of cervical nerves, the index and middle fingers are innervated by the seventh pair of cervical nerves, and the ring finger and little finger are innervated by the eighth pair of cervical nerves. Patients can determine which part of the cervical spine has problems according to the symptoms of numbness in different parts, so that symptomatic treatment can be given. There are five types of cervical spondylosis: first, cervical cervical spondylosis can cause head and neck pain; second, vertebral artery cervical spondylosis can cause vertigo; third, nerve root cervical spondylosis can cause numbness in the nerve area of the upper limbs; fourth, spinal cord cervical spondylosis can cause pressure on the cervical spinal cord; fifth, sympathetic cervical spondylosis can cause dizziness and ringing in the ears. Patients are advised to go to the local tertiary care hospital to register for orthopedic examination to clarify the diagnosis and give symptomatic treatment.
