Chickenpox can take as little as a few days to treat

Chickenpox is a self-limiting disease with a rapid onset and duration ranging from 1 week to several weeks, most patients heal spontaneously in about 2 weeks, but if the onset of symptoms is severe, symptomatic treatment is required. In general, chickenpox rash occurs within 1-2 days after the onset of the disease, and the rash occurs in batches within 3-5 days. For people with mild symptoms and normal immunity, no special treatment is needed and the rash can heal itself within 1-2 weeks. For those who have low immunity or serious illness, they should be treated with oral or topical antiviral drugs or antibiotics under the guidance of a doctor. Therefore, it usually takes about 1 week to recover at the earliest after suffering from chickenpox. If the symptoms are severe enough to cause a secondary infection, local anti-infection treatment is required, and if it causes a bacterial infection in the bloodstream, intravenous antibacterial medication is required. It is important to note that after contracting chickenpox, isolation treatment should be carried out to avoid infecting others; avoid bathing and blowing during the rash to prevent infection; avoid scratching as it will easily leave depressed scars; eat a light diet and take more rest and drink more water, etc.
