How to physically reduce fever fast

  Physical cooling refers to the use of physical methods to bring down the body temperature, which can be divided into two methods: local and systemic cooling. When the patient is in a high fever state, the following physical fever reduction methods can be chosen to quickly reduce fever: 1. Local cold compresses: local cold compresses commonly used materials for ice bags, antipyretic patches, etc.. The parts placed are usually the patient’s forehead, neck, armpit, groin, etc. During the cold compress, the color of the local skin should be observed, and if pallor and cyanosis occur, it should be stopped immediately to prevent impaired blood circulation or frostbite.
