Can I get vaccinated after surgery and when should I get vaccinated? 1.For children who have never been vaccinated before, it is recommended that after a three-month review, if the situation is good, the vaccine should be followed up. 2.If the child has fever, red rash and increased heart rate when vaccination is given, the child should be seen by the local hospital as soon as possible. 2.Can I wash the wound after surgery? How can I make the wound grow flatter? 1.Before the wound scab falls off naturally, avoid getting wet, try to use towel to help the child to wipe the body, but not the whole body bath, but should pay attention to wipe dry to avoid cold. 2.Children with median incision may have certain bulge after surgery because of the natural healing process of the sternum, they should pay attention to it normally, lie flat, and parents should also pay attention to avoid squeezing of the sternum when holding it. How to increase the amount of milk after going back? 1.Usually we need to increase the amount of milk according to the child’s weight. For children less than 1 year old, the amount of milk should be controlled at 80-100ml/kg according to the child’s condition, or you can simply calculate the amount according to the amount at the time of discharge, and increase 5ml/time every week, and add supplementary food according to the age appropriately. What postoperative review? 1.We generally recommend that children with simple precardiac disease come to the hospital for review 3 months after discharge, and bring the ultrasound report of the last surgery or examination during the review. 2.For children with complex precardiac disease or those treated with ECMO, we recommend a review one month after discharge. 3.The doctor will take the initiative to communicate with you about the review time and precautions before discharge for special cases.
