Blood clots in the heart need to be treated surgically or with medication. In the case of intravascular thrombus, thrombolysis or interventional therapy can be performed. In the case of thrombus in the atria and ventricles, anticoagulation or surgical removal of the thrombus is required. If the thrombus is in the coronary vessels of the heart, thrombolysis can be considered in the acute phase, usually within 12 hours. Early percutaneous intracoronary intervention is preferred if available, either by pulling the thrombus or by stenting. If the thrombus is in the atrium or ventricle, it is common in atrial fibrillation and heart valve disease. Anticoagulant medications can be given, such as warfarin and rivaroxaban. For valve lesions with thrombus, valve replacement and surgical thrombus removal can be performed, and standardized anticoagulation in accordance with medical advice. Heart thrombus, it is recommended to go to the hospital cardiovascular department as soon as possible for treatment.
