How to detect breast cancer early

In its early stages, breast cancer is asymptomatic and lumpless and can be difficult to detect unless special screening methods are applied. In order to detect breast cancer at an early stage, the best way is for women to learn to check their breasts regularly so that the tumor can be detected at a younger age. For women with normal menstruation, the best time for breast examination is the 7th to 10th day after menstruation, when estrogen has the least effect on the breast and the breast is in a relatively static state, which makes it easy to detect lesions. Older women after menopause have less estrogen in their bodies and are less affected by endocrine hormones, so they can choose the time to visit the doctor at will. If you find nipple discharge or eczema-like changes in the breast or a very small nodule, do not let it go easily. Nipple overflow or eczema-like changes are easy to detect due to contaminated underwear, while small nodules and lumps are easily overlooked without attention. In such cases, you should immediately go to hospital for further examination. In addition to clinical confirmation of benign tumor, ultrasound, mammography, pathology and other examinations shall be performed for suspicious lumps to clarify the diagnosis and avoid missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis.
