Can regular consumption of soy milk prevent breast cancer?

”Old people often say that soy milk is a good thing, and eating it can prevent cancer.” But Ms. Peng recently wondered, because she heard another statement: “There are some reports that women often drink soy milk is prone to breast cancer, because soy milk has estrogen-like substances.” The two completely opposite answers forced Ms. Peng to temporarily give up the habit of drinking soy milk every morning, and she did not even dare to dip her toes in milk. Is it true that women often drink soy milk to prevent cancer or are they prone to cancer? ”The incidence of breast cancer in developed countries in Europe and the United States is much higher than that in China, and some studies believe that this is related to the dietary differences between China and the West, especially the Chinese love to eat soy products, which has a certain relationship with the prevention of breast cancer.” Liu Xiaoyu introduced that it has been shown through some animal tests that consuming large amounts of soy products can reduce the occurrence of breast cancer. ”It is generally believed that the occurrence of breast cancer is related to the level of estrogen in the human body. Soy milk contains soy isoflavones, which are estrogen analogs that have both weak estrogen-like and anti-estrogenic effects and play a very important role in women’s health.” ”In vitro and animal tests have shown that ingestion of soy isoflavones, at low concentrations, stimulates the differentiation of mammary cells in adolescent animals; at high concentrations, it inhibits the proliferation of mammary cancer cells in animals. There have been reports that the intake of soy protein has some preventive effect on the occurrence of breast cancer, and its chemopreventive effect still needs to be confirmed in clinical trials, at least for the time being, its carcinogenic effect has not been found.” ”There is no cancer-causing potential in drinking soy milk.” Physicians recommend that people drink soy milk regularly, which is good for their health, “including women with breast disease, as long as they are healthy drinkers and keep the right amount, such as one cup of soy milk per day (about 200 ml), are very beneficial.” This approach also applies to milk consumption.
