The incidence of breast cancer is now the first of all malignant tumors in women. And the age of incidence is decreasing. It should be paid great attention to everyone. Although we have not yet figured out the causes of breast cancer and cannot effectively prevent it, it is certain that early detection and early treatment will greatly reduce the mortality rate of patients. Surgery will also be done in a more rational and aesthetic way. Most patients with early stage breast cancer can keep their breasts and can have the same treatment results as radical mastectomy (complete removal of breast and axillary tissue). I. How can we get an early diagnosis? The right way is to go to a specialist and have an ultrasound and mammogram screening. Ultrasound can detect small suspicious nodules with early lesions in the breast. A mammogram can detect early lesions in the breast that are suspicious for calcifications. The specialist will evaluate both lesions and decide whether to perform a biopsy. This means that the suspicious lesion will be removed by puncture or surgery for pathological examination to clarify the diagnosis. Once the diagnosis of early stage breast cancer is confirmed, the physician will adopt the appropriate treatment according to the histotyping and immunotyping of breast cancer. As long as the diagnosis is early and the treatment is early, the patient will have a better treatment result. What is the age to start seeing a physician? In Europe and America, it is set at 40 years old. In China, the age of onset is set at 35 years old because of the earlier age of onset. Of course, people with risk factors, such as people with genetic predisposition, endocrine disorders, mental tension, long-term depression, and people with more benign breast tumors, etc., should be seen earlier. After the first consultation, the physician should give a reasonable recommendation to each person according to their condition. Although the cause of breast cancer is not clear, a good mental state, a reasonable and healthy diet, a clean living environment and the necessary common sense of hygiene will reduce the disease.
