How do I recover from postpartum separation of the pubic bone?

Currently, postpartum separation of the pubic bone is mostly treated conservatively. The main treatment is bed rest at home and physical immobilisation with pelvic braces, in addition to physiotherapy such as acupuncture and electrical stimulation. Most patients can gradually recover 1 to 2 months after giving birth, some patients take 3 to 6 months, and a very small number of patients require surgery.
