Does AIDS die a horrible death at the end?

AIDS is quite a tragic death in the end if left untreated. In the later stages of AIDS, the immunity of the human body is completely destroyed, and there is a possibility of opportunistic infections and malignant tumors. The so-called opportunistic infections are infections that do not occur when the body’s immunity is normal and appear when the body’s immunity is low. These infections include tuberculosis, bacterial pneumonia, Pneumocystis carinii, toxoplasmosis, microsporidiosis, candidiasis, cryptococcosis, etc. Sometimes a very mild bump can result in serious infections and sepsis. Rare malignancies can also occur, including Kaposi’s sarcoma, lymphoma, and flat cell carcinoma. Each of these diseases is painful, but if antiretroviral therapy can kill the HIV virus, it can keep the disease from progressing, without all this pain and without affecting life expectancy.
