How to treat papular urticaria in children

Children’s papular urticaria, or insect bite dermatitis, can be treated by removing the cause, medication, and surgery.
1. Remove the cause of the disease: insect bite dermatitis is a localized skin allergic and inflammatory reaction that occurs after the skin is stung by an insect, so the insect should be shaken off immediately. If stung by a bee immediately remove the stinger and squeeze out the venom, then rinse with water and apply cold compresses locally with ice.
2. Drug treatment: you can follow the doctor’s instructions to choose 0.05% Dinaid cream, hydrocortisone butyrate cream and other drugs anti-inflammatory, anti-itching, anti-allergy. In addition, it can also be combined with antihistamines (such as loratadine, etc.) or glucocorticosteroids (such as prednisone, etc.) orally for anti-allergy treatment.
3. Surgical treatment: If the affected area is bitten by a tick, it should not be forcibly removed; ether or local anesthetic (e.g., bupivacaine, etc.) can be used to apply on the head of the tick, and wait until the mouth is loosened by itself, then gently pull out the tick with tweezers and disinfect the wound. If the mouthparts have been left inside the skin, they need to be removed by surgery after local anesthesia.
Children with insect bite dermatitis need to be accompanied by their parents to the hospital, where they will be treated by specialized doctors.
