Post-operative care measures for fractures

The following are the nursing measures after fracture surgery: 1. It is necessary to observe whether the patient’s vital signs are normal after surgery, and the doctor must be informed immediately if there is any abnormality. 2.Observe the blood and fluid seepage from the surgical wound and the drainage of the drainage tube near the wound. 3.Elevate the affected limb and observe the blood circulation at the end of the affected limb. The upper limb can be touched to see if there is any abnormality in the pulsation of the radial artery, while the lower limb can be touched to the dorsalis pedis artery. The main purpose is to observe the blood supply of the artery to judge the blood circulation of the limb. 4. Observe whether the patient’s pain is severe, and inform the doctor to do the relevant symptomatic treatment if there is severe pain.
