What is the disease of rattling hip?

  The iliotibial bundle is the thickest fascia in the body and is composed of the extended fascia tensor and the tendon membrane of the gluteus maximus muscle together. There are various causes of hip popping due to contracture of the gluteus and iliotibial fascia: congenital hypertrophy and tension of the iliotibial fascia; caused by drug injection in the gluteus maximus; individual athletes may be related to sports. Main manifestations: popping sound in the femur, abnormal gait, inability to bring both lower limbs together in standing position, inability to stilt, inability to squat with both knees together.  Treatment: If it seriously affects life or aesthetics, it can be treated surgically. The iliotibial bundle can be cut open and released. It is also possible to release the iliotibial bundle under arthroscopy.
