The prostate enlargement and frequent urination need to be examined and evaluated in the hospital before deciding what drugs to use for treatment. 1. Patients with mild symptoms of frequent urination and mild prostate enlargement can take oral prostate health tablets and flavone permethrin hydrochloride tablets. It can both treat prostate enlargement and reduce the symptoms of urinary frequency. 2. Tamsulosin hydrochloride extended-release capsules and finasteride tablets can be used to treat patients aged >60 years and above with mild to moderate prostate enlargement, which can improve the symptoms of prostate enlargement and urinary frequency. 3. If the patient is over 60 years old and the frequency of urination is more serious, the combination of oral tamsulosin hydrochloride extended-release capsules and tolterodine tartrate tablets can treat prostate enlargement and also control the patient’s urinary frequency symptoms. 4. If there is severe prostate enlargement with residual urine >50mL or more in the bladder leading to frequent urination, drug treatment is not recommended and minimally invasive prostate surgery is recommended.
