How long does it usually take for synovitis to heal?

There is no fixed time for synovitis to heal, and the time to heal is determined by the severity, treatment measures, and usual protective measures. Synovitis is caused by cold irritation in the joint, local injury, and joint strain. The symptoms include swollen joints, pain, redness of the skin, high local temperature, limited joint movement, and in some cases, fever. Treatment for patients with synovitis recommends early rest, joint immobilization and braking, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and anti-swelling medications, and local ice packs; mild cases can be treated with acupuncture, baking electricity, ultrasound and topical medications. In addition, for severe cases with significant joint swelling and severely restricted movement, the fluid in the knee joint can be extracted and bandaged with pressure at the hospital. If there is fever, localized redness and swelling, antibiotics and anti-infection treatment are also required.
