Is a child’s cough without fever pneumonia?

Coughing in children is a very common clinical symptom. When a child develops a cough, it can be caused by a variety of reasons, and in general it is mostly seen in bronchitis, bronchopneumonia and foreign bodies in the bronchi. For this disease, bronchitis rarely results in a corresponding fever. If there is only a cough and no obvious fever, the possibility of pneumonia is unlikely, unless the pneumonia lesion is small and does not lead to a serious inflammatory response in the body, but this is quite rare. At the same time, a child’s cough may be due to pneumonia if it is particularly violent and accompanied by some difficulty in breathing and shortness of breath. However, in general, if a child has a cough without any obvious symptoms such as fever, it is less likely that pneumonia will be considered.
