What are the indications for thyroid swelling surgery?

　　Non-surgical treatment: For nodular goiter that is small in size, asymptomatic, does not affect appearance and life, and the patient does not have a strong demand for surgery, or for adolescent nodular goiter, the patient can be observed first and given thyroid tablet preparations.　　2. Surgical treatment: (1) those with symptoms of pressure on adjacent organs; (2) post-thoracic goiter; (3) huge goiter affecting work and life; (4) complications of hyperthyroidism; (5) suspected malignant changes.
