What are the three herbs for liver detoxification?

There are more than three medicines for liver detoxification, and there is no such thing as three medicines for liver detoxification. Commonly used liver detoxification medicines include Chai Hu, Mentha piperita, and Wood Butterfly.
Chaihu is bitter and pungent in flavor, slightly cold in nature, and belongs to the liver, gallbladder and lung meridians. It has the efficacy of dispersing the liver and relieving depression (treating depressive diseases by dispersing the liver’s qi), elevating yang qi, and dispersing the exterior to relieve fever, so it can treat chest tightness caused by liver depression and stagnation of qi (the liver’s qi and blood are not transported smoothly, and the emotions are depressed), and it can also treat chest tightness, good taiyi, and depression of emotions.
Mentha piperita is pungent in flavor, cool in nature, belonging to the lung and liver meridians, with the effects of dredging the liver and promoting qi, clearing the head and eyes, evacuating wind-heat, inducing pharyngeal irritation, and transmitting rashes, and is used to treat chest congestion and dystocia (pain in the area of dystocia and ribcage) caused by stagnation of qi due to liver depressions, as well as conditions such as good taiyi.
Wood Butterfly is bitter, sweet and cool in nature, and belongs to the lung, liver and stomach meridians. It has the effects of dispersing the liver and stomach, clearing the lungs and throat, and can treat cough and hoarseness caused by stagnation of Qi in the liver and stomach.
If there are any related symptoms, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time and standardize the treatment, not self-medication.
