What causes trichomonas

Trichomonas is manifested in women as trichomonas vaginalis, caused by trichomonas infection, a common vaginal inflammatory disease in women and also seen in men, usually called trichomoniasis, a common sexually transmitted disease. It is a common sexually transmitted disease. It is mainly transmitted through: 1. direct transmission: sexual contact, the most direct and main mode of transmission. 2. 2, indirect transmission: indirect transmission to patients via public baths, bath tubs, bath towels, swimming pools, bidets, contaminated clothing, contaminated instruments or dressings, etc. Trichomonas is usually parasitic in the glands of the female perineum or vaginal folds, but also in the folds of the male foreskin, urethra or prostate, and men are usually asymptomatic after infection, thus becoming the source of infection. Both men and women are susceptible to Trichomonas vaginalis when they have unhygienic sex or frequent unprotected sex, or if they frequent the public places mentioned above. Trichomonas vaginalis or trichomoniasis is mainly transmitted through sexual contact, so it is important to pay attention to sexual hygiene in daily life, avoid frequent unprotected sex, avoid sexual intercourse until the disease is cured, and pay attention to high temperature disinfection of underwear and towels in close contact. Trichomonas can swallow sperm, which can cause infertility if not treated thoroughly or for a long time. Therefore, when trichomoniasis is diagnosed, both the patient and his sexual partners need to be actively treated to prevent infertility and reinfection.
