If the hemiplegic patient cannot brush his teeth by himself, use sterilized gauze dipped in warm boiled water to scrub his mouth, or use cotton swabs or cotton balls dipped in warm saline to clean the patient’s mouth once a day in the morning and once in the evening.  3, pay attention to the prevention of bedsores: long-term bedridden hemiplegic patients, and maintain a fixed position or posture for a long time, their body pressure parts, such as the back and waist back skin and soft tissue blood circulation is blocked, malnutrition, poor resistance, resulting in local skin redness, ulceration, erosion, ulcers, humor the formation of bedsores. In severe cases, ulcers expand and deepen, and secondary systemic infections can cause sepsis and endanger life. In order to prevent bedsores, it is important to change the posture of the bed and turn the patient every 2-3 hours. The mattress should be kept flat, dry and clean, and the skin should be kept dry and hygienic by promptly disposing of it after urination or defecation. If the local skin begins to redden, use 50% alcohol to rub and gently massage the area in a circular motion. Moxibustion can also be used locally to make the skin slightly warm. If decubitus ulcers have formed, they should be treated according to the various stages of decubitus ulcers under the guidance of a doctor.  4. Pay attention to the prevention of pulmonary infections: Bedridden patients with hemiplegia have poor resistance and are prone to pulmonary infections. Therefore, special care should be taken to avoid getting cold and prevent catching a cold, otherwise the sputum will not be easily coughed out after upper respiratory tract infection and will easily spread to the lower respiratory tract causing lung infection.  5. Pay attention to the handling of urine and stool: Some hemiplegic patients are incontinent. If not treated in time, it will easily cause urinary system infection. Therefore, it is necessary to change the pads frequently and keep the area clean. If there is redness around the anus or skin, use warm water to clean and dry it, and apply zinc oxide paste to protect the skin. If the stool is constipated, it should be laxed in time, and can be done with a corked solution or soap and water enema. Increase the intake of fiber in the diet can prevent dry stools to some extent. The Chinese herb senna leaves in water as a tea substitute, has a good laxative function, may try.  6. Pay attention to nutrition: Due to the inability of hemiplegic patients to take care of themselves and the possible existence of throughput disorders, a considerable number of them are in a state of undernourishment or malnutrition. Therefore, special attention should be paid to strengthening nutrition in home care to ensure the supply of protein, vitamins, fiber and electrolytes to patients. Patients who have not fully recovered from swallowing disorder can eat some soft solid food. If necessary, insist on escort feeding.
