Excluding sleep, a person’s lifetime is just over 10,000 days. The difference between people is this: do you really live more than 10,000 days, or do you just live one day but repeat it more than 10,000 times. Perianal abscess is a purulent disease of the perianal soft tissue caused by bacterial infection of the anal glands. Abscesses mostly occur in the perianal-rectal space, and as the disease progresses, fistulas are formed on the body surface near the anus, i.e. anal fistulas. Regarding the causes of perianal abscess, many experts and scholars at home and abroad believe that perianal abscess is closely related to anal gland infection and anal fistula, and some statistics show that nearly 95% of perianal abscesses are of glandular origin. Due to the sensitivity of the perianal nerves, it poses a great problem to change the medication after the perianal abscess. In recent years, the combination of Chinese and Western medicine is gaining more and more attention, and moxibustion, as a traditional Chinese medicine treatment, is gaining more and more recognition worldwide. Some studies have shown that moxibustion treatment at Changqiang acupoint can effectively relieve pain during medication changes. Acupuncture point: Changqiang. It is located at the midpoint of the line between the caudal end and the anus, and the caudal nerve and the anal nerve are located in this area, which has been documented to be effective in treating “painful hemorrhoids”. Operation method: the patient lies on his side, take 2 moxa strips produced by Suzhou Oriental moxa factory, light them and then mildly suspend moxibustion on the long strong point, 3-7 cm from the skin of the point, so that the patient feels warm and comfortable moxibustion treatment for 10 min. The treatment was carried out once daily for 8 days. The current research on the mechanism of moxibustion’s therapeutic effect suggests that moxibustion therapy has the effects of warm stimulation and invisible light (far-infrared) stimulation, etc. The Xingyun multi-source therapy instrument, developed successfully in the 1990s, is a therapeutic instrument commonly used in acupuncture departments to gradually replace the TDP irradiator. The research shows that its multi-source infrared radiation sheet can both emit far-infrared rays with the best match with the human body and the best biological effect, rich in wavelength 7.5~9.5μm, and emit enough infrared therapeutic energy with analgesic, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effects. Therefore, in order to reveal the law of the effect of moxibustion in the treatment of perianal abscess post-operative drug exchange pain, the author selected the Xing Yun multi-source far infrared therapy instrument with the same warm stimulation and far infrared light stimulation as a control. The results of the study showed that mild suspension moxibustion of Changqiang acupuncture point can make more patients quickly relieve the pain and discomfort of drug change in a shorter period of time than far-infrared irradiation of caudal-sacral treatment, and patients prefer and desire moxibustion treatment. The reason for this is that although the warm stimulation area of moxibustion is not as large as that of far-infrared irradiation, the warm effect is deeper than that of far-infrared irradiation. This may also be the reason why patients are more desirous of moxibustion treatment. Since this study focuses on clinical efficacy rather than therapeutic mechanism, whether the warmth and invisible light stimulation of moxibustion affect local nerve and blood circulation through meridians and acupuncture points, thus improving abnormal contraction of the muscles and providing antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects needs further laboratory evidence.
