This may be hymenal laceration. If bleeding does not stop and is accompanied by persistent pain, seek prompt emergency or gynaecological attention.
It can also be due to painful intercourse, which can be caused by inadequate communication between partners, lack of sexual knowledge and skills, such as: not understanding the characteristics of female sexual response, lack of appropriate sexual stimulation and communication skills, choosing an inappropriate time and place, etc. You should prepare yourself physically and mentally before having sex and learn to use sexual techniques and lubricants if necessary. If you do not experience any relief, seek emergency or gynaecological care.
Pain may also be caused by vulvovaginal inflammation. If it is usually accompanied by abnormal discharge and you experience itching, burning and other abnormal sensations, please seek prompt attention from your gynaecologist.
