Nowadays, medical science believes that “tumor is hereditary” and makes people think it is correct. In fact, the term “hereditary tumor” is inappropriate, irresponsible and even wrong. It is because the cause of tumor is still unknown to the current medical science. Tumor is not hereditary, nor is it familial. However, it can be said to be “familial” or “group”. Reasons: 1. If tumor has “hereditary”, then it is passed from generation to generation or from one generation to another. If the tumor is hereditary, it should appear regularly like “hemophilia” and other genetic diseases. It can be traced back to a long time ago. In other words, the current tumors should have been found in the Qing Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty, and even in the Tang and Song Dynasties and Spring and Autumn. The truth is that there are not so many historical records. Some people may also say that tumors were not found at that time because of short life span and undeveloped technology. If that is the case, how can the record of “breast rock” be explained? There are records of “breast rocks” thousands of years ago, and the records are very accurate and detailed. It is clear that tumors have existed since ancient times, and the incidence rate was low in ancient times. It does not conform to the law of heredity. If it is said that tumor has “family”, then please ask those tumor patients to go through their family tree, not as far back as Tang and Song dynasties, but to the Republic of China or the 1950s and 1960s, to see how many tumors are in your family. This is not in line with the law of heredity. 3. The “family nature” of tumor. Some people say, so-and-so’s grandmother had breast tumor, and her mother had breast tumor, and now she is suffering from breast tumor, is this not familial and hereditary? This, on the surface, looks like “hereditary and familial”. In fact, it is not true. If you marry far away or in another country, breast tumors rarely or even do not occur. This so-called “hereditary and familial” cannot be traced historically. It can only be reluctantly called “familial”. The reason is simple: people who have the same or similar life, diet, lifestyle and temperament will suffer from the same disease. This is not in accordance with the law of heredity. 4. “Group” of tumors. There are many “cancer villages” in China, which are related to the soil, food and living habits. If you leave such environment, you will rarely or even not suffer from the tumors in the “cancer villages”. This is not in line with the law of heredity. To sum up the above four points, the “hereditary” and “familial” nature of tumor is not valid.
