There are still people who have some fear of chemotherapy, thinking that chemotherapy patients will experience nausea, vomiting, and constant hair loss. In fact, with the continuous clinical application of chemotherapy and some of its adjuvant drugs, many of the side effects of chemotherapy are no longer manifested in the clinical setting. This is mainly attributed to the clinical application of new drugs, which has been particularly evident in the last decade. Of course, there are still many patients who still experience many side effects during chemotherapy, which is most likely related to the patients’ lack of care during this period. Here, combined with my clinical practice, I would like to summarize some points: 1. Dietary care for chemotherapy patients: During chemotherapy, as the drugs kill the tumor cells, it is inevitable that the normal cells will be damaged to produce the corresponding toxic side effects, such as decreased immune function, leukopenia, gastrointestinal mucosal ulcers, hair loss, etc. At this time, patients should supplement with high protein foods. At this time, patients should supplement high protein foods, such as milk, lean meat, fish, animal liver, red dates, adzuki beans, etc. River crab, eel, black fish, beef, etc. also help to raise the white blood cells. If there is loss of appetite and indigestion, increase spleen-healthy and appetizing foods, such as hawthorn, white lentils, radish, mushroom, Chen Pi, etc. 2.How to increase the appetite of cancer patients during chemotherapy? (1) Change recipes and cooking methods: a new food can promote appetite, for example, patients who often eat pork can change to eat fish, shrimp, crab, chicken, etc. If possible, they can eat some turtles and snappers. Changing the cooking method so that the food has a different color and flavor can also increase appetite. But no matter what kind of food, cooking must reach the degree of food is relatively cooked and rotten, in order to be smoothly digested and absorbed. (2) Medicine meal appetite and spleen: ① Hawthorn diced meat: Hawthorn 100g, lean pork (or beef) 1000g, vegetable oil 250g, and mushrooms, ginger, onion, pepper, wine, monosodium glutamate, sugar each appropriate amount. First cut the lean meat into slices, oil explosion, and then use the hawthorn seasoning fontanel and burn dry, can be eaten. Can both appetite and anti-cancer. ②Astragalus yam soup: 30g of astragalus, add water and boil for half an hour, remove the slag, add 60g of yam, then boil for 30 minutes, add sugar (add honey if constipated) that is. Take it once a day in the morning and once in the evening. It has the effect of benefiting the qi and blood, increasing appetite and improving the absorption function of the stomach and intestines. (3) Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits with high vitamin content: such foods can not only increase resistance, but also increase appetite. Some patients believe that raw and cold foods should be avoided, but fruits and vegetables should be treated according to the situation. In the early postoperative period, vegetable juice and a small amount of easily digestible fruits can be eaten, and the amount should not be too much each time, and should be small and multiple meals. After the basic recovery of gastrointestinal function, you can eat some light and refreshing raw cold vegetables and fruits, especially during chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which have obvious appetizing effect. (4) Exchange of dietary experience among patients: Exchange of dietary experience among patients can not only complement each other, but also help to increase appetite, which is very necessary for cancer patients. 3.Nutrition for tumor patients: Tumor is a consumptive disease, and unbalanced nutrition and malnutrition are common among tumor patients. Therefore, it is very important to promote appetite and strengthen nutrition for the recovery of tumor patients. In daily life, we should pay attention to reasonable nutrition, try to shift the food, eat more high protein, multivitamin, low animal fat, easy to digest food and fresh fruits and vegetables, do not eat stale or irritating food, eat less fumigation, baking, pickled, fried and salty food, and match the staple food with coarse and fine grains to ensure nutritional balance. Sour, sweet, bitter, spicy, salty five, each flavor has its special role. Sour can be astringent, astringent appetite; sweet can benefit the spleen and stomach; bitter can drain, dry damp, a small amount can be appetizing; spicy can also be appetizing; salty can pass down, soft firmness. Basically, all foods are the above five flavors, or several flavors mixed together. Patients recovering from tumor should choose foods with certain anti-cancer ingredients and softening and dispersing effects. Besides rice, wheat, millet and soybeans, chicken, goat and beef are qi-supplementing foods, which can be consumed by tumor patients with physical deficiency. Duck, tortoise, turtle, carp and whore are foods that are good for the spleen, sea cucumber, jellyfish, abalone, kelp, water chestnut and rhizome can soften and disperse knots and eliminate “lumps”, wood ear, monkey mushroom, shiitake mushroom, golden needle mushroom and other edible mushrooms have certain anti-cancer effects. In particular, shiitake mushrooms have more nutritional value than all other mushrooms, containing 7 kinds of essential amino acids, calcium, copper, iron, manganese and other emblematic elements, as well as various sugars and enzymes, which can improve and enhance human immunity. Vegetables, fruits and beans are rich in many kinds of vitamins and trace elements, which have certain anti-cancer and anti-cancer effects. For example, soybeans, cabbage and Chinese cabbage are rich in trace elements of molybdenum, tomatoes, carrots, cabbage and dates are rich in vitamins A, C and B. Among them, cabbage has the best nutrition, it contains many vitamins, more than tomatoes several times. Garlic moss, leek, cauliflower, cabbage, in addition to rich in vitamins, also contains indigo substrate that can increase the activity of aryl hydroxylase, which can resist the carcinogenic effect of chemical carcinogens. After chemotherapy, when there is a decrease in white blood cells, it is advisable to supplement animal liver, placenta, bone marrow, pig’s foot and claw, lean meat, fish, dates, cinnamon garden, red beans, quail, mushrooms, goose blood, shark, walnuts, snapper and other foods that have anti-cancer and leukocyte-raising effects and oral solution of Chinese medicine DD compound ajwain syrup. When patients have loss of appetite, indigestion, loose stools, etc., foods that strengthen the spleen and stomach can be given. Such as barley, radish, hawthorn, maitake, Ulva, jujube, sunflower seeds, walnuts, shrimp and crab, carp, silverfish, loach, fathead fish, pond fish, grass carp, etc., can strengthen the spleen and appetite, protect the digestive function and reduce the side effects of chemotherapy. If oral mucosa rupture occurs, use rosebuds, roses or mulberry buds as tea substitute.
