Most patients with cerebral hemorrhage will develop pneumonia after being bedridden for a period of time, mainly for the following reasons: 1, impaired consciousness, due to drowsiness or coma patients without the awareness of voluntary coughing and sputum excretion, it will lead to poor airway drainage, resulting in aspiration pneumonia; 2, misaspiration, most patients with cerebral hemorrhage will have swallowing disorders, and when eating, they will easily inhale food residues into the trachea by mistake, and patients who are fed by nasal feeding tube also easily develop reflux, resulting in aspiration pneumonia; 3. low immunity; 4. nosocomial cross-infection. If pneumonia is not treated with strong and effective antibiotics, it can cause high fever as well as respiratory failure and death. Therefore, patients with cerebral hemorrhage should eat with the head of the bed elevated, eat more semi-liquid food, eat less and more meals, turn and pat their backs regularly, avoid getting cold and cross-infection, and patients with respiratory failure should undergo tracheotomy and ventilator-assisted breathing.
