The overall prognosis of heart failure is poor, with a 5-year survival rate that may be less than 50% and a 10-year mortality rate that can be as high as 90%. Heart failure has a poor prognosis, with high mortality and rehospitalization rates and poor quality of life. The 5-year survival rate of patients with heart failure in China is comparable to that of malignant tumors, with a 5-year survival rate of about 25% for men and 38% for women with heart failure. Relevant studies in our country show that the 1-year mortality rate of heart failure patients can reach 20% after diagnosis and the 1-year rehospitalization rate can reach 60%. In addition, the survival time of patients with heart failure needs to be determined by a combination of factors, such as the severity of heart failure and whether the medication is regulated. Severe heart failure can lead to pump failure, arrhythmia and sudden cardiac death at any time if medication is not administered in a timely manner. Once heart failure is diagnosed, regular, timely, standardized, and systematic treatment is required, and cardiovascular doctors’ recommendations should be followed.
