Can bromocriptine be removed from pituitary microadenomas?

In clinical practice, patients with pituitary microadenoma can also be melted off by taking bromocriptine, but with very strict qualifications, only for the prolactin type of pituitary microadenoma, which is relatively meaningful and not in all patients. The final decision can only be made clinically after a certain period of administration, observation of the amount of prolactin, and observation of the size of the pituitary microadenoma by CT and MRI. So far, the prolactin type pituitary microadenoma belongs to the only disease that can be completely cured by medication, and all other types of pituitary microadenoma have to be treated by surgical procedures. Therefore, patients with pituitary microadenoma, especially for the prolactin type, must first take oral bromocriptine and observe it for a period of time. Some people with relatively mild and sensitive disease are able to be completely melted away, reducing the risk of surgery.
