How long does a benign brain tumor usually live?

The survival time of patients with benign brain tumors is related to the type and size of the brain tumor, whether the surgical removal is complete and the patient’s physical quality. Under normal circumstances, if patients are actively treated, they can usually be cured and can survive for a long time. Benign brain tumors usually have clear borders, grow more slowly, and generally do not metastasize or spread to other tissues and organs. Although benign brain tumors are better treated, they should be taken seriously because enlarging brain tumors can affect the function of the nervous system and even endanger life, so they need to be treated as early as possible, and surgery is the main treatment method. Patients with benign brain tumors are advised to actively cooperate with the examination and treatment. If surgery is performed, regular review is needed after surgery. Avoid strenuous exercise, pay more attention to rest, and eat a reasonable and healthy diet, which is conducive to the recovery of the disease.
