Prevention and treatment of frozen shoulder

Periarthritis is a common disease that is characterized by impaired movement of the shoulder joint and shoulder pain. It is more common in women than men, and is more common in people over the age of 50. It is caused by chronic shoulder strain, acute trauma, cold, infection, degenerative changes of the cervical spine, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, and neurotrophic disorders of the soft tissues of the shoulder caused by autonomic dysfunction. The pain is aggravated after activity and at night. It is also known as 50 shoulder and leaky shoulder. The disease can heal itself, but it takes a long time. Early treatment can reduce the pain and significantly shorten the duration of the disease. The treatment is based on blocking, oral anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving drugs, improving microcirculation, physiotherapy, and functional exercises, such as double-handed elevation exercise method, bending and shaking shoulder method, chest expansion and shoulder release method, posterior body pulling method, external rotation exercise method, hand shaking exercise method, and double shoulder inward and outward exercise method. The above exercise methods should be performed 1-3 times a day for about 30 minutes each time, and the exercise time should be increased or decreased according to your specific situation.
