Shouhai point – a wonderful point for chronic pharyngitis

  Point: On the medial side of the foot, in the depression below the tip of the inner ankle.  Anatomy: At the stop of the abductor muscle of the bunion; posterior to the tibial artery and vein; covered with the medial cortical nerve of the calf and deep to the tibial nerve trunk.  Meridian: Kidney meridian, meeting point of the eight veins – Tong Yin Stilts.  Effects: Nourishing the kidney and clearing heat, regulating the three jiao.
