How to confirm the diagnosis of novel coronavirus

Patients infected with novel coronavirus can be diagnosed by pathogenetic testing. In addition, there are some tests that can assist in the diagnosis, as follows.
1. chest radiograph and chest CT: gross glassy clouding of both lungs.
2, common abnormal indicators: most patients show lymphocytopenia in blood routine, and a decrease in total white blood cell count is seen in the early stage. However, with the aggravation of the disease, the lymphocyte count will decline progressively and D-dimer abnormalities will appear. Some patients have increased liver enzymes, myokinase and myoglobin, and a few patients have increased C-reactive protein and sedimentation.
These tests are used to diagnose whether the patient is infected with the novel coronavirus.
