Hemorrhoids are different from internal hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids, and mixed hemorrhoids, so after suffering from hemorrhoids, there are different symptoms, mainly: (1) Fresh blood stool: Fresh blood is a common symptom in the early stage of internal hemorrhoids, bright red in color, blood usually does not mix with the stool, but not every time you solve the stool with blood in the stool, the amount of bleeding varies, more or less, can be blood in the stool, blood in the hand paper after the stool or dripping out, serious cases can appear ejection of blood (2) Pain: Pain is a common symptom of external hemorrhoids. Because external hemorrhoids are located below the tooth line and are innervated by the spinal cord, once they become inflamed and swollen, the pain is obvious. The internal hemorrhoids are generally painless, and there is only a transient sensation of falling after the hemorrhoid mass is released and returned. If the internal hemorrhoid prolapses and becomes embedded, phlebitis, thrombosis, infection, etc., it can cause severe local pain in the anus. (3) Foreign body protrusion and prolapse: protrusion of anal edge, foreign body feeling, not easy to wipe off during stool, contamination of underwear is the sign of external hemorrhoids. Prolapse is a common symptom in the late stage of internal hemorrhoids, which often prolapses outside the anus during stool. In severe cases, the nucleus of the hemorrhoid may also come out of the anus when squatting, walking, coughing, or working hard. (4) Anal dampness and itching: Due to the prolapse of internal hemorrhoids and repeated stimulation, they are often complicated by anal sinusitis and chronic proctitis, increased secretion of intestinal mucus glands, and in those who often prolapse, the anal canal is relaxed and the secreted mucus flows out of the anal canal, stimulating the perianal skin, forming dermatitis and eczema and causing anal discomfort and itching. In addition, external hemorrhoids normally do not have secretions, but when the external hemorrhoids are inflamed and swollen or the skin is ulcerated, or when the wipe is not clean after stooling or the anal sweat glands are more developed, it can also cause anal dampness and itching. After the treatment of internal hemorrhoids or after the inflammation of external hemorrhoids is controlled, the symptoms of anal dampness and itching can disappear or be relieved. (5) Constipation: Constipation can cause hemorrhoids and often aggravate constipation due to bleeding or pain from hemorrhoids. Therefore, constipation is closely related to the occurrence and development of hemorrhoids, often as a result of each other, forming a vicious circle. In short, the above list is the main symptoms of hemorrhoids, as the condition varies, the severity varies, so the symptoms vary from patient to patient, once you have one or more of the above symptoms, you should seek medical attention as soon as possible to prevent delayed diagnosis and treatment, aggravating the condition.
