Leg numbness refers to discomfort in the legs, which may occur if there is low blood calcium, generally manifested as discomfort in both legs, while leg cramps or bone pain may occur, check the blood calcium if necessary. If the blood calcium is lowered it should be treated with calcium supplementation, either calcium in calcium or calcium dihydrate orally, or if necessary intravenous calcium gluconate should be pushed in to correct it quickly. If the patient has restless legs syndrome, it may also appear, generally manifested as leg discomfort during sleep or in a quiet state, and the symptoms may be relieved after moving the lower limbs, often affecting the patient’s sleep quality. Symptomatic treatment with benzodiazepines is generally applied, and can be treated with oral clonazepam or diazepam, or with oral medroxypa. It may also occur if the patient has a psychiatric disorder, such as anxiety disorder.
