How long does it usually take for a baby to heal from otitis media pus

Most babies with otitis media with pus can get better within a week after scientific and regular treatment. Otitis media is a common disease in infants and children, and pus flow is one of the most common symptoms of otitis media. A large amount of pus proves that the condition is serious and should be treated actively. The child can be disinfected with iodophor, the sinus canal can be cleaned with hydrogen peroxide, and ear drops of levofloxacin or phenol can be applied to the sinus canal for 3-5 days. If the sinus tract is deeper and the anti-inflammatory treatment is not effective, incision and drainage should be performed to drain the pus. Since otitis media in babies is usually acute otitis media, early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment should be done, and most of them can be cured, but if not treated in time, it may cause perforation or develop into chronic otitis media, making treatment more difficult.
