(1) Post-operative functional exercise points of the affected limb: (1) 24 hours after surgery to move the wrist joint; (2) 1 to 2 days after surgery (practice finger extension, fist clenching simple movements); (3) 2 to 3 days after surgery to practice elbow flexion and wrist flexion, seated elbow flexion and forearm extension and flexion movements; (4) 3 to 5 days after surgery, touch the ipsilateral ear and ipsilateral shoulder with the affected hand; (5) 5 to 7 days after surgery, practice shoulder joint lift, flexion shoulder joint lift to 90 degrees. (6) 7-10 days after surgery (usually after the drainage tube is removed), practice raising the affected limb and “climbing the wall”, and increase the amount of exercise day by day thereafter; (7) 10-14 days after surgery, practice abduction exercises as appropriate according to the wound healing. Due to the dissection of lymph nodes and lymphatic vessels after breast cancer surgery, the lymphatic flow is blocked, resulting in postoperative edema of the affected limbs, which can easily be combined with lymphangitis if not handled properly. Therefore, we should pay attention to: (1) not to draw blood or inject intravenously into the affected limb; (2) not to lift heavy objects on the affected limb; (3) to avoid skin damage and infection on the affected limb; (4) to avoid mosquito bites. (5) Do not wear tight jewelry or tight clothing on the affected limb.
