What is the redness of the palm of the hand?

Redness in the whole palm of the hand is considered to be a high hemoglobin concentration in the patient, and a routine blood test can be performed to observe the absolute hemoglobin count. If the hemoglobin or red blood cell count is significantly higher than normal, further examination is needed for the presence of diseases such as true erythrocytosis. Some patients with chronic liver injury may also have red palms, but they are limited to redness between the large and small fissures of the palms, which is a manifestation of liver palms.
