How is cough variant asthma treated?

  Treatment of cough variant asthma (CVA): 1. The principles of CVA treatment are the same as those of bronchial asthma treatment; 2. Inhalation of small doses of glucocorticoids combined with bronchodilators (β2 agonists or theophylline) is sufficient for most patients, or a combination of both; 3. Oral treatment with small doses of glucocorticoids can be given if necessary; 4.  Drugs for cough variant asthma (CVA) treatment: 1.Inhaled hormone (ICS): beclomethasone dipropionate, budesonide, fluticasone propionate, etc.  2, β2 agonists: commonly used SABA drugs: salbutamol, terbutaline; inhaled LABA: salmeterol, formoterol.  3, leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRA): montelukast; theophylline; aminophylline, controlled (slow) release theophylline.
