What to do if you have breast cancer

Doctors have been doing this for a long time, and some days the work feels like a set program. However, medicine is constantly evolving, and today’s breast cancer treatment is very different from what it was five years ago, not only because new drugs and technologies are emerging, but also because more and more knowledgeable patients are accepting new ideas more easily. Twenty years ago, few people were willing to undergo breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer, but ten years ago, many people were willing to have breast-conserving surgery. However, studies have found that breast-conserving surgery has a high recurrence rate, even after chemotherapy and radiotherapy, there is still this problem, and the younger you are, the more likely you are to have a recurrence. Nowadays, half of the breast cancer patients in Europe and the United States have given up breast-conserving surgery again. Is there a surgical procedure that can cure breast cancer, reduce recurrence rate, avoid radiotherapy, and maintain a woman’s body shape? The answer is yes. —- has it! The “subcutaneous gland excision plus axillary lymph node dissection plus simultaneous implantation” perfectly solves all the above problems, and patients can benefit from the following aspects 1. Low cancer recurrence rate. All diseased breast glands are removed, and the problem of high local recurrence rate associated with breast-conserving surgery does not occur. 2. No radiotherapy. It reduces skin burns, fibrosis of the irradiated heart muscle and lung tissue, edema of the affected upper limbs, nausea, vomiting, bone marrow suppression, and other complications brought about by radiotherapy. The cost of radiotherapy is saved. After all, radiotherapy takes 1-2 months and costs more than 15,000. 3. Aesthetic shape. When the patient returned to the ward, her body shape was similar to what it was before her surgery. The patient no longer has the self-denial and disgust that comes from losing her breasts, and her family and social life can still be as good as before. 4. Less costly. The cost of one implant is less than 10,000 RMB, and the implant and breast cancer surgery are done together, which saves a large amount of anesthesia and re-hospitalization costs. 5.Less trauma. The widespread development of sentinel lymph node biopsy has made it no longer necessary for most breast cancer patients to clear the axillary lymph nodes, and they no longer suffer from upper limb edema and activity limitation. 6. Convenient review. Compared with autologous tissue breast reconstruction, this procedure does not destroy the latissimus dorsi and rectus abdominis muscles, and does not bring about upper limb activity restriction, abdominal wall hernia, or huge scarring on the body surface. Even small recurrent foci are easily detected early in the future. It will not be disturbed by scar tissue. Some patients worry about rupture of the prosthesis or having to replace it after a few years, but these are totally unnecessary. Silicone implants are safe, and the technique of implantation has proven to be reliable over decades of clinical use. The prosthesis is safe for almost a lifetime without damage from sharp objects (such as needle sticks or knife stabs). Who has seen the stars who put in prosthesis after a few years to change it ah?
