Many apparently benign signs are actually signs that your body is being eaten away by some serious pathology. To help you determine if the pain and discomfort you are experiencing is indicative of an underlying health problem, we have compiled a list of some of the most common conditions that are hidden, but are sufficiently noticeable for your reference. 1. You feel bloated and cracked, you may be suffering from allergic bowel disease (IBS). IBS is a very annoying condition, and patients usually feel very troubled by abdominal discomfort: bloating, constipation or diarrhea at the same time or alternately. Each episode lasts about a few weeks or even a few months. It is easy to tell if you have the disease by whether your bowels are in a constant state of discomfort or normal, and if the symptoms persist, there is no doubt that you have IBS, which usually affects one out of every five people, most of whom are women. Patients who suffer from IBS may have overly sensitive intestinal wall cells that are prone to lesions under irritation. 2. You suffer from menstrual pain, you may have endometriosis. According to the Endometriosis Research Institute, this is a chronic condition that afflicts millions of women. Many women believe that pain during their period is normal and something they must deal with. Menstrual pain that is so severe that the pain cannot be reduced by pharmaceuticals or birth control pills is nothing less than a red flag representing endometriosis. This disease starts when a small amount of tissue inside the uterus (the endometrium) moves to the outside of the uterus for unknown reasons. Why this movement occurs is still a mystery, but experts believe that the displacement is caused by menstrual blood flowing back, with the shed endometrium moving in the wrong direction and clogging up the pelvic cavity rather than exiting the body through the vagina. These membranes accumulate in the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and other abdominal organs, causing bleeding and inflammation. These can trigger pain – causing severe menstrual pain, difficulty having intercourse, and even infertility. 3. You may be suffering from temporomandibular arthritis (known as TMJ) when you have inexplicable pain in your jaw. This condition is often easily misdiagnosed as a toothache, or a headache. TMJ is a severe pain that occurs in the jaw, and according to the TMJ Association, the condition is usually formed by an injury or arthritis that causes teeth to bite or grind too tightly together. (Unstoppable grinding of the teeth in sleep is common if due to excessive pressure and does not easily cause TMJ, but it is possible if it persists for a long time.) TMJ is also a disorder that affects a large number of people, especially women, with a 90% prevalence rate. 4. If you feel weak between meals, you may be suffering from hypoglycemia. It occurs when your blood sugar drops below the normal range and it makes you feel dizzy and shaky. Of course you can have this symptom if you are very angry, but if the number of episodes increases exponentially in a month or causes confusion or even fainting, then it is probably hypoglycemia and you should see a doctor immediately. It is estimated that one out of every 1,000 people will have this symptom – excessive exercise, alcohol consumption, irregular meals are all causes of this disorder. 5, your stomach hurts when you are hungry, you may have a stomach ulcer. This is a tearing pain caused by abnormal mucous membrane in the stomach or sluggish activity of the cells of the small intestine, which can continue to occur for days or even weeks. The signs are that you will wake up in the middle of the night with pain, but the pain will go away after you eat, so the disease is usually thought to be caused by indigestion or hunger. The disease is caused by excessive acid production caused by an increase in the number of harmful bacteria in the stomach and can cause a lot of pain to the patient.
