Hip impingement syndrome

  Definition: Abnormal anatomy of the hip joint that causes impingement between the proximal femur and the acetabulum, leading to degeneration of the glenoid labrum and articular cartilage of the hip joint, resulting in chronic pain in the hip joint, limited range of motion of the hip joint, especially in flexion plus internal rotation, and ultimately osteoarthritis of the hip joint.  The hip joint pain: pain in the groin or deep hip pain, more obvious when the hip joint is flexed and internally rotated Restricted movement: hip joint flexion and internal rotation is limited, joint flash pain, joint locking, joint popping X-ray: abnormal development of the femoral head neck can be seen.  Treatment: 1. Conservative treatment Indications: Hip pain does not significantly affect daily life and work.  Treatment: Avoid heavy physical work, excessive exercise and long-distance walking. Avoid hip activities that cause pain. NSAIDS-type anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs.
