How to treat female genital herpes

  Female genital herpes is mainly treated with antiviral therapy, which aims to relieve symptoms, reduce pain, shorten the course of the disease, and prevent secondary infections. The disease is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV), mainly HSV-2 and a few HSV-1, and is one of the common STDs. Genital herpes can recur and has a large impact on the health and psychology of the patient. Specific treatment means are as follows: I. General therapy 1. Keep the local clean and dry, can be washed with isotonic saline daily, painful people can take oral painkillers, such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, aspirin, etc.; 2. Do not take a bath after herpes rupture to prevent the trauma from contacting water leading to infection, wear cotton, loose clothing to reduce the stimulation of the affected skin, and the patient’s towels and bedding should be disinfected in time and used separately from others to prevent infection.
