Small signs of cranial tumors indicate big problems

Cranial tumors, as the name implies, are tumors that grow inside the skull and are classified into primary and secondary. Primary tumors occur in the brain tissue and its appendages inside the skull, while secondary tumors are metastases from other parts of the body or metastases that invade the skull. Some people find brain tumors in the middle and late stages, so that the best time for treatment is missed. In fact, there are signs and symptoms of brain tumor attack. Here are some of the signs and symptoms of brain tumor attack in early stage: 1. headache The nature of headache is more intense, often in the early morning, and sometimes it will be awakened by pain during sleep. 2.Vomiting Due to the increase of intracranial pressure, the vagus nerve center is stimulated and vomiting occurs, which mostly occurs after the headache and is in the form of spraying. 3, vision loss Increased intracranial pressure can cause poor venous blood flow to the eye, leading to bruising and edema, which can damage the visual cells in the retina at the base of the eye, resulting in vision loss. 4.Mental abnormalities Brain tumors located in the frontal lobe of the brain can disrupt the mental activities of the frontal lobe, causing mental abnormalities such as excitement, agitation, depression, repression, forgetfulness, and fiction. 6.Sensory and motor abnormalities of one or unilateral limb The parietal lobe located in the middle of the cerebral hemisphere is specialized in sensory management, and tumors in this part often cause unilateral limb pain, temperature, vibration, and shape discrimination sensation to be reduced or disappeared. 7.Phantom smell Tumor in the temporal lobe can cause phantom smell under its stimulation, i.e. smell an odor that does not exist, such as burnt rice or burnt rubber smell, etc. 8. Hemiplegia or drunken gait The cerebellar lesions are more specific, i.e. patients often have hemiplegia or staggering drunken gait after headache, vomiting and visual impairment. 9. Tinnitus, deafness This is mostly detected when talking on the phone, i.e., one ear can hear but the other ear cannot. 10.Gigantism or dwarfism Gigantism is usually seen in pituitary tumor, which is characterized by rapid growth and acromegaly (large chin, large nose, enlarged lips and tongue, abnormally large hands and feet). Doctor’s tip: It is recommended that people who have the above-mentioned signs and symptoms should not ignore them and should go to a specialist hospital as early as possible to clarify the cause and treat the symptoms.
