Prof. Yang talked about: PCOS patients have reduced fertility; although PCOS patients have high ovarian reserve index, it is not known whether their fertility window is prolonged, and whether their true ovarian reserve is higher than that of their peers. The long-term adverse effects of laparoscopic ovarian perforation on ovarian reserve need to be taken into account; the effects of metabolic abnormalities and hyperandrogenemia are still present in elderly PCOS patients; screening and management of metabolic abnormalities should be given more attention in assisting pregnancy in elderly PCOS patients.
