Self-checking method for early stage of breast cancer: memorize it and it will be useful at the critical moment!

  I. China has the highest incidence of breast cancer in the world.
In China, one out of every 10 women has breast cancer or knows a friend who has breast cancer. How terrible is the incidence of breast cancer in China? The incidence rate of breast cancer in China is growing twice as fast as the global average, ranking first in the world.
In other words, most breast cancers can be cured. Less than 1 out of 4 breast cancer patients die. In particular, the cure rate of breast cancer detected at early stage is over 90%.
Here comes the question: How to detect breast cancer in early stage?
  1.Lumps.
  2. Skin changes. Superficial venous anger, dimple sign and orange peel skin are common.
  3. Nipple areola changes: flattened, sunken, retracted nipples, or even nipples sinking under the areola, resulting in areola deformation.
  4, nipple overflow.
  5.Pain.
  6. Enlarged axillary lymph nodes.
Breast cancer is not exclusive to women!
The incidence rate of male breast cancer is about 1/200,000, accounting for 1% of all breast cancer patients. 60-70 years old is the high incidence period of male breast cancer.
  IV. Examination
When you go to the hospital, the doctor will press on your body while telling you with a worried face that all your breast glands are blocked, and the only thing you can do now is to hurry up and let them do breast de-clogging with professional massage techniques. The cause of breast cancer, like other malignant tumors, has not yet been clearly concluded. On the other hand, breast enlargement is a lesion that is neither inflammatory nor tumor. It is mainly caused by endocrine disorders and is closely related to the individual’s mental condition. Scientific research shows that breast enlargement and breast cancer are two different things, and there is no necessary connection between them.
  V. What are the conditions that make you prone to breast cancer?
1.For example, people who are chronically constipated, wear heavy make-up for a long time, and often eat barbecue.
  2. People who consume excessive food high in sugar and fat and drink alcohol frequently are prone to breast cancer. The reason is that too much fat will stimulate estrogen secretion, and the accumulation of large amount of estrogen will increase the incidence of breast cancer.
  3. People who stay up late at night, especially those who work night shifts, are prone to breast cancer. This is because artificial light inhibits the secretion of melatonin in the body, while lower melatonin level will promote the secretion of estrogen. Therefore, the longer you work night shift, the more likely you are to develop breast cancer.
The specific methods of mandatory breast self-examination observe the appearance of the breast, such as whether there is any abnormal discharge from the nipple, whether there is any abnormal change in the size and nature of the breast, and whether there is any abnormal change in the skin of the breast.
The touching technique is shown in the picture, mainly to feel the texture of the breast and whether there are any hard lumps appear. Lie flat on the bed, lift the arm on the side to be examined, and use the index finger, ring finger and middle finger of the other side to touch up and down and up and down in the breast area in small increments to see if there are any lumps present.
For children who don’t have much practical experience, expert advice is: standing is better than lying.
The reason: due to gravity, when we stand, breast tissue relatively gathered in the lower part, overlapping glands appear particularly thick, small lumps easily hidden in it; and lying down, breast tissue relatively flat spread, the thickness is not affected by gravity. This makes it easier to check for meaningful lumps on hand inspection.
How do I know what I am touching just will touch, do not know what to touch? Don’t worry, I’ll teach you the simple and easy way.
Lips: Normal breast tissue is soft and loose and feels like your lips.
Nose: lobular hyperplasia tissue feels like the nose, a little tough but very elastic – except for the beauty of plastic surgery nose job.
Forehead: the most dreaded lump of breast cancer feels like your forehead, hard to the touch and not easy to push.
If you are still not too sure, then get it checked by an experienced breast specialist as soon as possible.
Don’t forget to check the nipple areola area remember to squeeze the nipple at the end to observe if there is any overflow and remember to see which hole appears to be the case. If you are coming to the clinic the next day, remember not to squeeze too much, as the doctor will not be able to determine the nature and extent of the overflow if all the water is squeezed out.
