Wound management
1.You need to keep the wound dry before the stitches are removed after discharge. If there are symptoms such as redness, swelling and pain, higher skin temperature and infection, please contact the doctor or go back to the department for consultation.
2.After surgery, due to high local skin sensitivity, avoid too cold or too hot stimulation of the wound skin, and choose soft, loose and cotton underwear as much as possible.
Dietary precautions
1.Postoperative patients without other contraindications can choose light, protein-rich food, fresh vegetables and fruits as well as dairy products to promote wound healing. Do not eat estrogen-rich foods, such as propolis, snow clams, etc. Avoid alcohol and foods with less sugar.
2, regular, quantitative food, do not overeat, partial food, to have a plan to intake nutrition and calories.
3. Eat more vegetables and fruits rich in vitamin A and C. Eat more foods that contain tumor cell inhibitors, such as cabbage, mustard, mushrooms, etc.
4.Eat less refined rice and flour, and eat more coarse grains, corn, beans and other miscellaneous foods.
5, low-fat diet, lean meat, eggs, yogurt, less salt cured, smoked, fire baked, baked caramelized, spoiled food.
6, often eat dried fruit foods, such as sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, watermelon seeds, peanuts, raisins, etc. They are rich in vitamins and trace elements. They are rich in a variety of vitamins and trace elements, fiber, protein and unsaturated fatty acids, high nutritional value.
7, reasonable tonic to improve immunity. Certain tonic products such as ginseng, white fungus, red dates, etc. have direct or indirect cancer suppressing and strengthening effects; eat less of all kinds of health care products, such as: skin care capsules, etc.
8. Use more steaming, boiling and stewing in cooking, and eat less fried and deep-fried food.

Limb protection, functional exercise and rehabilitation supplies
1.As lymph node dissection during surgery is likely to cause lymphedema and lymphangitis due to obstruction of lymphatic return, please pay attention to: insist on functional exercise, do not give injections, blood draws, infusions and blood pressure measurements in the affected limb; avoid lifting heavy objects (<5KG) in the affected limb; avoid skin breakage or infection on the affected side, avoid excessive stimulation by heat and cold, etc.
2.Continue functional exercise after discharge from the hospital. The ultimate goal is to be able to touch the opposite ear with the affected hand over the top of the head.
3. Patients who have undergone modified radical mastectomy for breast cancer are recommended to wear a prosthesis after surgery to maintain a good body shape and restore beautiful curves; contraception is needed for 5 years after surgery, as pregnancy often promotes the recurrence of breast cancer.
Post-operative follow-up
Close follow-up is needed within 5 years after breast cancer surgery to reduce the risk of cancer recurrence and metastasis. It is recommended to start counting from the month after surgery, every 3 months for the first 2 years, every 6 months for 3-5 years, and once a year for 5 years or more until the end of life.
2.High-risk patients should be followed up by regular medical checkups (including family history of breast cancer, history of breast cancer disease on one side, not having children, etc.).
3.Women over 35 years old are recommended to have annual breast professional checkup.
