When is the best time to operate for aortic coarctation?

A few days ago a patient consulted on aortic coarctation surgery, I suggested to come to me the next day, but a few days later he replied me that the patient was already incurable, for which I am deeply sorry, for this reason I write something about the timing of aortic coarctation surgery. Aortic coarctation is a critical cardiovascular surgical disease, especially type A coarctation. For the timing of surgery for type A coarctation, I believe that as long as the patient is diagnosed, he needs to be operated as early as possible, especially if there is pericardial effusion, the patient is irritable, the blood pressure is falling or the blood pressure is rising and cannot be easily controlled, etc. Immediate surgery must be performed. The problem is that not every tertiary hospital can do type A aortic coarctation, and not every cardiovascular surgeon can do it, and this is the problem, the patient and his family do not know which hospital and which doctor can do such an operation to save his life, and even general hospital doctors do not know where to do such an operation, everyone is based on their own impression that the famous provincial hospital should be able to do it. However, this is not the case, and this has delayed many patients’ illnesses and even their lives. What we need to do now is to promote ourselves and let more patients know that we can save your life. The surgical success rate for type A aortic coarctation with us is basically the same as conventional heart surgery, which can reach over 95%, and we are able to perform all surgical treatments for aortic coarctation as well as secondary and even tertiary aortic coarctation and aneurysm.
