Pneumonia bacterial infection

The common causative agents of bacterial infections of pneumonia include Streptococcus pneumoniae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, fungi, and so on. The clinical symptoms of different bacterial infections are not exactly the same, for example, Streptococcus pneumoniae with rust-colored sputum, Klebsiella pneumoniae with brick-red jelly-like sputum, Staphylococcus aureus with yellow thick sputum, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa with yellow-green sputum. Patients diagnosed with bacterial infection of the lung need to be treated with antibiotics. In mild cases, oral antibiotics such as cefixime, azithromycin, levofloxacin, etc. can be given. If the above treatment is ineffective or the infection is severe, intravenous antibiotics such as cefoperazone sodium tazobactam sodium, levofloxacin, moxifloxacin, azithromycin, etc. can be given.
